Swedish telecoms group Tele2 said on November 01 that it now had acceptances for the shares and convertible bonds of bid target Versatel equal to just over 82 percent of the group.

A supplementary offer period for Versatel ended on October 31.

"The total number of shares and bonds tendered under Tele2's public offers would represent, should all bonds be converted into shares, approximately 82.39 per cent of the consequently diluted share capital of Versatel," it said.
